Description
Poderi Sanguineto is a small family-run winery in Montepulciano, led by Dora Forsoni and Patrizia Patrizi, who cultivate just a few hectares with an artisanal approach and a deep respect for tradition. Here, the Nobile is produced without forcing, following the rhythms of the vineyard and the cellar, with spontaneous fermentations and long aging in large oak barrels.
The 2021 Riserva is made from Sangiovese (Prugnolo Gentile) grapes from well-exposed vineyards, harvested at full ripeness. The vintage yielded balanced and very clean wines, with beautiful fruit definition.
In the glass, it presents aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and notes of undergrowth, accompanied by light spicy nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet smooth, with well-integrated tannins and a freshness that sustains the sip and extends its finish.
It is a Nobile that interprets the Sanguineto style well: authentic, territorial and without excess, capable of evolving over time but already pleasant today with a little oxygenation.
