GAJA CA’ MARCANDA MAGARI Bolgheri 2022 is one of the flagship wines of the Ca’Marcanda estate. It is a blend of international grapes, typical of the Bolgheri area, known for its complex and structured red wines.

In 1996 Angelo Gaja purchased his second Tuscan property, Ca’ Marcanda, located in Castagneto Carducci in Bolgheri. In full harmony with the Bolgheri terroir, Ca’ Marcanda is a company with a strong international inspiration. The 150 hectares of the estate are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Syrah.

Gaja is one of the most prestigious Italian wineries. It was founded in 1859 by Giovanni Gaja, but became the star of contemporary winemaking with Angelo Gaja – Giovanni’s great-grandson, who first introduced innovative technological concepts and practices to the Langa. Today, Angelo Gaja is still the owner of the winery, although much of the management work is entrusted to his two daughters. In addition to the Piedmontese companies, Gaja has also expanded into Tuscany in recent years, where it now owns several vineyards in the most suitable areas of Bolgheri and Montalcino
