Description
Antinori’s Bruciato from the Tenuta Guado al Tasso estate is a wine that showcases the uniqueness of the Bolgheri region. It is spicy, with toasty notes and a fruity finish accented by hints of cocoa. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety. A wine that is easy to drink and has a Mediterranean character.
The Guado al Tasso estate is located in the center of the small and prestigious Bolgheri DOC area, and can count on 300 hectares of vineyards.
The Guado al Tasso estate was once part of the holdings of the noble Della Gherardesca family, whose roots in this region date back more than 1,200 years. In the 1930s, the estate was inherited by Carlotta della Gherardesca Antinori —Piero Antinori’s mother—and her sister, who was married to Mario Incisa della Rocchetta (who purchased the nearby San Guido Estate).
The 300 hectares of vineyards in the Guado al Tasso estate are located at an altitude of 45-60m a.s.l. on various types of terrain.
The cultivated varieties are Vermentino, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc.
