Payments, General Sales Information, and Right of Withdrawal
General sales information
Casa Porciatti S.r.l. markets wines, extra virgin olive oils, gastronomic products, cured meats, cheeses, preserves, and other selected food products through its online shop.
The products are organized by product categories and accompanied by a product sheet containing the main characteristics, mandatory information required by current legislation, and the relative price.
The published images are for illustrative purposes and may differ, in terms of graphic details, labels, packaging, or vintages, from the product actually delivered, without altering its quality or essential characteristics.
The order is considered completed exclusively after acceptance by Casa Porciatti and confirmation of payment according to the methods indicated below.
Payment methods
On Casa Porciatti you can purchase in total safety using one of the following payment methods:
- Credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other enabled circuits);
- PayPal;
- Apple Pay and Google Pay (if available);
- Advance bank transfer.
All transactions are processed through secure payment systems that guarantee the protection of personal and banking data.
Order processing and shipment preparation begin exclusively after payment authorization or, in the case of a bank transfer, after the amount has actually been credited to Casa Porciatti’s bank account.
Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to articles 52 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), the consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without having to provide any reason within 14 days.
The period expires from the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods.
After this period, the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised pursuant to art. 52 of the Consumer Code.
How to exercise the right of withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, it is necessary to communicate your decision within the terms indicated above by means of an explicit declaration containing at least the following information:
- Order number;
- Order date;
- Date of receipt of the products;
- First and last name of the consumer;
- Address;
- Email address;
- Signature, if the communication is sent in paper format;
- Date of the request.
It is possible to exercise the right of withdrawal by filling out the appropriate online form available on this page.

To meet the legal deadline, it is sufficient that the communication is sent within 14 days of acquiring physical possession of the goods.
Return of products
After exercising the right of withdrawal, the customer must return the products within 14 days from the date of the relative communication.
The return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed with Casa Porciatti.
The products must be returned:
- intact;
- complete with packaging and any original boxes;
- unused;
- adequately packed to avoid damage during transport.
It is recommended to use the original packaging or an equivalent packaging suitable to protect the contents during transport.
The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Refund
In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, Casa Porciatti will refund all payments received from the consumer, including the costs of standard delivery.
However, any supplementary costs resulting from the choice of a delivery method other than the standard one offered will not be refunded.
The refund will be made within 14 days from receipt of the withdrawal communication using the same means of payment used for the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed with the consumer.
Casa Porciatti may withhold the refund until the goods are received or until the consumer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
Pursuant to art. 59 of Legislative Decree 206/2005, the right of withdrawal is excluded, among other cases, for:
- perishable food products or those with a short expiry date;
- goods made to measure or clearly personalized;
- sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery;
- goods which, after delivery, according to their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items.
For wine, oil, and other food products sold by Casa Porciatti, the right of withdrawal can be exercised provided that the products are returned intact, unopened, unused, and in the same conditions in which they were delivered.
If bottles, packaging, or seals are found to be opened, tampered with, or damaged by the customer, the withdrawal may not be accepted in the cases provided for by current legislation.
