Description
Montevertine Le Pergole Torte 2021 was born in a vintage to remember in Chianti Classico. Nature, perhaps due to the forced absence of man for several months, expressed itself as it hadn’t happened for some time. A regular season, with rain at the right time and summer heat that is not suffocating, green and thriving woods, minimal presence of infections in the vineyard and consequent minimal use of treatments, regular ripening and excellent final yield.
The Pergole Torte 2021 is presented in a superior category version, complex, structured, with great impact and length in the mouth, the excellent acidity well balanced by a very deep fruit. A wine that we can already drink with great satisfaction but which will certainly give much more in the years to come
