Description
Monteraponi Chianti Classico 2024 has a beautiful, pale ruby red color. It offers distinct aromas of rose, violet, and sandalwood—characteristic of Radda wines. On the palate, its freshness and silky tannins make it a good pairing for red meats, of course, but also for pasta dishes and roast chicken.
Monteraponi is one of the most beautiful cellars of Radda in Chianti.
The vineyards are located at considerable heights, from 400-500 meters above sea level, and the wines are made in a natural way, i.e. without the addition of yeasts, nutrients or anything other than what is found in the vineyard.
Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, followed by long maceration periods (even the vintage Monteraponi Chianti Classico remains in contact with the skins for at least 25 days). The wines are aged in large barrels. No filtration is performed. Only native grape varieties are used.
Mainly Sangiovese, of course, with a touch of Canaiolo and Colorino. These are vibrant, intensely flavorful, thought-provoking wines full of character. Without a doubt, some of the finest examples of Chianti Classico.
