Description
Macea Pinot Nero is a wine with a strong personality. With aromas of red berried fruits, undergrowth, wet grass, dried flowers and sweet spices, it is a complex, layered wine, with soft tannins that together with a tasty freshness give it a pleasant and satisfying drink.
The Macea farm is located in the municipality of Borgo a Mozzano, home of the Barsanti family.
Borgo a Mozzano, located in a valley under the magnificent Silvani mountains, is twenty minutes by train from the city of Lucca. Macea is a small family-run winery, which adopts a “biodynamic” approach to vineyard management and winemaking.
