Description
The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigna Istine 2022 by Istine is a small Cru of about 5 hectares located halfway between Radda in Chianti and Castellina in Chianti at about 500 m a.s.l. with a beautiful view of Panzano in Chianti. The nose shows a good dose of red fruits, fresh and intense. The cherry, blackberry and a splash of spice are clearly evident. In the mouth it is classic and clearly of Raddese origin: high altitudes and cooler temperatures add sharpness and concentration to the wine.
Angela Fronti represents the new generation of the Fronti family and their desire to produce wine from the family vineyards. Project that materialized with the first bottlings in 2009.
From the beginning the idea was to create wines that highlight the different characteristics of their different vineyards:
the ISTINE vineyard (between Radda and Castellina), the CASANOVA vineyards (near Radda) and the CAVARCHIONE vineyard (near Gaiole).
