Description

Istine Chianti Classico Riserva Le Vigne di Istine 2020 is a complex and elegant expression of Sangiovese coming from various estate vineyards. The Sangiovese bunches from the three different vineyards are vinified separately and assembled shortly before bottling after aging in oak barrels.

For several decades the Fronti family has specialized in the development and management of vineyards for some of the most famous Tuscan wineries, appreciated everywhere for the quality of their work. At the same time the Fronti family also acquired some small vineyards in the Chianti Classico area, specifically in Radda and Gaiole in Chianti

Angela Fronti represents the new generation of the Fronti family and their desire to produce wine from the family vineyards. Project that materialized with the first bottlings in 2009.

From the beginning the idea was to create wines that highlight the different characteristics of their different vineyards:

the ISTINE vineyard (between Radda and Castellina), the CASANOVA vineyards (near Radda) and the CAVARCHIONE vineyard (near Gaiole).
