Description
Fagnani Brunello di Montalcino has an extraordinary strength of character which represents its distinctive trait. Intense ruby red color tending towards garnet. Elegant and intense aroma. Dry, warm, robust and persistent. It goes very well with structured first courses, game, roasted red meats and aged cheeses. Long aging wine. The vinification is classic: stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature for about 20 – 25 days, with pumping over and delestage which allow to maximize the extraction from the skins and all the structural components of the wine. Maturation and aging are also very traditional: aging in small Slavonian oak barrels and French oak barrels for about 36 months, obtaining a homogeneous and structured complex. Then 4 months of bottle refinement.
