Description

The 2023 Dievole Chianti Classico is the estate’s proud flagship wine. True to the traditional Chianti recipe, the winery rejects blends incorporating non-native grapes (such as Merlot or Cabernet), convinced that the only way to express the authentic Chianti terroir is to rely on the varieties that have thrived here for centuries.

Dievole is a corner of Tuscany between Siena and Florence, in the center of the Chianti Classico area which has always been considered a small paradise.

Here the dialogue between nature and man has never been interrupted and the name can explain the reason: “Dievole” means “God wills”.

The name of Dievole officially appears for the first time in the 11th century, precisely on 10 May 1090. In 2012 Dievole began a harmonious and gradual renewal with the aim of enhancing the deepest identity of this area. Yesterday’s dreams become tomorrow’s goals, old certainties are confronted with new ideas. It is an evolution, based on respect, which started from listening to the earth and which has only one advantage: quality. Quality at Dievole begins first of all with excellent agricultural resources such as a land particularly suited to viticulture, man’s experience and constant effort for innovation.
