Description
Istine Vigna Istine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2021 is a small Cru of around 5 hectares located halfway between Radda in Chianti and Castellina in Chianti at around 500 m above sea level. with a beautiful view of Panzano in Chianti. On the nose it presents a good dose of red fruits, fresh and intense. The cherry, blackberry and a splash of spices are clearly evident. In the mouth it is classic and clearly inspired by Radda: high altitudes and cooler temperatures add clarity and concentration to the wine.
Angela Fronti represents the new generation of the Fronti family and their desire to produce wine from the family vineyards. Project that materialized with the first bottlings in 2009.
From the beginning the idea was to create wines that highlight the different characteristics of their different vineyards:
the ISTINE vineyard (between Radda and Castellina), the CASANOVA vineyards (near Radda) and the CAVARCHIONE vineyard (near Gaiole).
