Buondonno

Gabriele Buondonno s farm is in Castellina in Chianti, in the locality of La Piazza. Gabriele Buondonno can be considered one of the best interpreters of Chianti Classico. His wines go beyond the explosion of fruit for its own sake and extreme softness. The wines have a solid structure and pleasant freshness, never pimps.

The company is small, 8 hectares of vineyards, mostly in Sangiovese, gathered around the Casavecchia farm at about 400 meters above sea level. The soils are a classic mix in Chianti: galestro, alberese and pietraforte. Perfect for ensuring proper drainage and the necessary nourishment for plants.
