Description
Villa Pomona’s Chianti Classico is the result of Monica Raspi’s passion for wine and the Chianti region. Fattoria Pomona is located in Castellina in Chianti on the road that leads to Siena.
The vineyards are located at a height of 350 m above sea level on predominantly marly soils. The blend of Villa Pomona’s Chianti Classico is the traditional one – Sangiovese 95% and Colorino 5% – just as the vinification and aging is traditional: large Slavonian oak barrels for at least a year and then three months in the bottle before entry on the market.
Production is truly limited, just over 4500 bottles for a genuine, crunchy Chianti Classico, a faithful expression of this corner of Tuscany.
