Vietti has the advantage of having 10 MGA sites available for blending (and for the production of single vineyard wines). This allows them to select the grapes they want to best express each vintage. The 2019 Vietti Castiglione Barolo draws on those 10 sites (including recent additions from Mosconi, Ginestra, Bricco Ravera and Briccolina) to produce this classic and tonic interpretation of the vintage. Tonic and expressive with varietal tones of wild berries, rose and undergrowth.
