Description
Valentini’s Cerasuolo is born in Loreto Aprutino, a unique environment nestled between the Maiella mountains and the Adriatic Sea. The vineyards grow on a mix of sandy, clay, and limestone soils, well-drained and constantly ventilated—ideal conditions for a low-intervention, naturally balanced viticulture. The altitude and strong diurnal range enhance the aromatic expression of Montepulciano, a grape with thick skins and deep pigmentation. Though pale in color, this Cerasuolo has the depth and structure of a red wine. After a brief maceration, it undergoes spontaneous fermentation and ages in large oak casks. The result is a profound, one-of-a-kind rosé that speaks of authentic Abruzzo with precision, identity, and remarkable aging potential.
