Description
San Donatino Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from Frantoio, Correggiolo, Moraiolo, and Leccino olives. The olives are hand-picked directly from the tree and placed in special crates with ventilation on all sides to ensure better aeration and preservation. Within 72 hours of harvesting, the olives are taken to the mill for pressing.
The winery is located in Castellina in Chianti and has a long-standing reputation for producing some of the best Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the area.
San Donatino Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a slight spiciness with a pleasantly bitter note that leaves the mouth feeling dry and clean. The aroma features distinct hints of artichoke and freshly cut grass.
