Description
Monteraponi Trebbiano 2021 is one of the most striking whites within the Chianti Classico. In a land dedicated to reds, this incredible wine is born from a vine that is as traditional as it is rarely vinified alone.
The bunches are only half destemmed and macerated in cement on the skins for at least two days. The wine ages in Burgundy barriques (50% exhausted and 50% new) with two weekly batonage before returning to concrete for natural decantation. Monteraponi wines are always convincing, even in new types like this one: a rich, mature, intriguing wine with incredible length.
