Le Ragnaie V.V. Brunello di Montalcino 2020 comes from the oldest vineyard, the Vigna Vecchia located at the foot of the cellar, overlooking the south-west side of the Passo del Lume Spento at an altitude of 500-600 meters above sea level, in one of the highest points of Montalcino. The wine offers an extremely chiseled and sharp bouquet. Berries, blue flowers, balsamic herbs and crushed stone emerge with intensity. The tannins are firm and tight, and given the high altitude, the freshness of the wine is no surprise.
Riccardo Campinoti can count on a first-class vineyard park for his Brunello di Montalcino de Le Ragnaie.
Located on one of the highest hills of Montalcino, 600 m above sea level on the so-called Passo del Lume Spento, the Le Ragnaie winery also owns Vigna Fornace in Castelnuovo dell’Abate and Pietroso close to the village.
