Description
Le Ragnaie Petroso Brunello di Montalcino 2019 is a concrete wine, with an evident note of red fruit framed by caramel, tobacco leaf, red currant, cherry and wild plum. The mouthfeel turns towards enveloping and there is a very evident hint of minerality. Silky tannins frame a medium weight structure with a very elegant finish. Only 3,000 bottles.
Riccardo Campinoti can count on a first-class vineyard park for his Brunello di Montalcino de Le Ragnaie. Located on one of the highest hills of Montalcino, 600 m above sea level on the so-called Passo del Lume Spento, the Le Ragnaie winery also owns Vigna Fornace in Castelnuovo dell’Abate and Pietroso close to the village.
