Le Ragnaie Brunello di Montalcino Passo del Lume Spento 2019 was born from sapling-trained vines planted in 2012 at the highest point of the denomination (over 600 meters above sea level). Le Ragnaie Brunello di Montalcino Passo del Lume Spento 2019 has a fine and direct aroma with red fruits such as blueberry, pressed rose and rosemary flowers. The fruity and floral components are exuberant and well balanced by the mineral and salty component. Crispy fruit and silky tannins fuel a very long and shiny finish with an alcohol content of 13.5%.
Riccardo Campinoti can count on a first-class vineyard park for his Brunello di Montalcino de Le Ragnaie. Located on one of the highest hills of Montalcino, 600 m above sea level on the so-called Passo del Lume Spento, the Le Ragnaie winery also owns Vigna Fornace in Castelnuovo dell’Abate and Pietroso close to the village.
