Description
Lamole di Lamole Maggiolo Chianti Classico is innovative of its kind. Together with the Sangiovese, a few drops of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are also part of the blend. The color is intense ruby red. On the palate, the exuberance of the wood is kept at bay by the intensity of the fruit which then gives way to nuances of spice and leather, in perfect harmony with the bouquet. Maggiolo Chianti Classico is a taste of the joyful sunshine of the land of Lamole. The name of this soft and tasty wine derives from the image of the iris, a typical flower of this area that dots the fields in the month of May at the height of its splendour. We can feel it in the enveloping sensations and in the sweet and caressing sounds that it can give us with every sip.
Lamole is the name of a small village that overlooks an enchanting valley in the heart of the Chianti Classico in the municipality of Greve in Chianti. Since Roman times, the fertile lands here have been appreciated for the quality of the crops.
Blessed with a unique microclimate, the valley offers ideal rainfall and drainage, with a diverse range of elevations, soil types and temperatures. Over the years, the Lamole di Lamole clonal selection program has identified the Sangiovese clones that are best adapted to this environment and that best interpret its characteristics.
