Lamole di Lamole DUELAME Chianti Classico is born from grapes coming from the various vineyards located between 420 and 655 meters in the surroundings of the various villages that make up the fraction of Lamole. The grapes are destemmed and the berries pass through the optical sorter and after pressing them, the must ferments, together with the skins, in steel tanks where it remains until late winter.
It is the altitude and the typical soil of Duelame Chianti Classico di Lamole that inspired its name. It is produced from native vineyards located at the two extremes in height, the minimum at 420 meters and the maximum at 655, perched on blades of earth, the stratified steps rich in mineral substances to which Lamole owes its name and which make the landscape of the Chianti Classico. Lamole is the name of a small village that overlooks an enchanting valley in the heart of the Chianti Classico in the municipality of Greve in Chianti. Since Roman times, the fertile lands here have been appreciated for the quality of the crops.
Blessed with a unique microclimate, the valley offers ideal rainfall and drainage, with a diverse range of elevations, soil types and temperatures. Over the years, the Lamole di Lamole clonal selection program has identified the Sangiovese clones that are best adapted to this environment and that best interpret its characteristics.
