Description

Pas Dosé by Franz Haas is a sparkling wine with a fascinating color, with a fine and persistent perlage.

The Pinot Noir grapes from Pas Dosé are Guyot-trained and grow between 750 and 1,150 meters. The vineyards are located on mixed soils of dolomite and porphyry, with southern and southwestern exposure.

The grapes are partially pressed whole, while the remainder is de-stemmed and then crushed. The first refinement takes place only in steel for six months and bottling (draft) takes place in the spring following the harvest. Afterwards, the wine remains on the lees for about four years. The disgorgement takes place only six months before being put on sale.

Only 3000 bottles produced.
