Description
The vineyards to produce the Domaine De Courcel chardonnay were planted at the beginning of the 2000s, on plots bordering the denomination of Pommard village and rest on brown soils moved from the hill and accumulated on less sloping terrain. The depth can reach one metre, but the significant presence of pebbles ensures good soil filtration.

Domaine de Courcel produces wines from seven different lots (climates), all based in Pommard. Four of these wines, which represent almost 75% of the estate’s surface area, enjoy the “Premier Cru” denomination. The vineyard is made up of the widest variety of Pommard wines. The vineyards are located on the hill slopes, south of the village between Pommard and Volnay, and north between Pommard and Beaune.
