Description
Diebolt-Vallois Blanc de Blancs Cuvée 2013 is produced only in exceptional years.
This champagne is a mix of Chardonnay from the Cuis Premier Cru (60%), Chouilly Grand Cru (10%) and Epernay (30%) terroir.
The 2013 vintage had a particularly late cycle, but a radiant summer allowed maximum sunshine and low rainfall, ideal parameters for the maturation of Chardonnays. Then the autumn harvest gave elegant wines with a marked freshness.
This cuvée is vinified and aged in heat-conditioned tanks with Brut dosage, in order to preserve the tension and freshness of this fine vintage.
This 2013 Blanc de Blancs cuvée from Diebolt-Vallois reveals beautiful notes of white flowers, yellow fruit, ripe and juicy fruit, citrus peel and great minerality. On the palate it is a round, fresh, elegant cuvée that evokes yellow fruits. Its texture is creamy, smooth that leaves a light spicy touch at the end of the mouth.
