Description

Cenno del Colle Bereto is one of the company’s two main crus, born from the experimentation of Pinot Nero di Borgogna vines planted in the 1990s.

Aromas and flavors of dark cherry, blackberry, earth and spices embellish this soft, bright and harmonious red, with a persistent and fruity aftertaste.

Colle Bereto is the magnificent property of the Pinzauti family in Radda in Chianti, the winery is located on the opposite side of the village going down towards Montevarchi. The vineyards have a southwest orientation and enjoy an ideal exposure and altitude range, between 450 and 500 meters above sea level.

The terrain is the classic Chianti, Galestro, Alberese and rocky substrate. Ideal characteristics for native varieties such as Sangiovese and Canaiolo, but which have also proved to be perfect for Merlot and Pinot Nero.

There are 17 hectares of vineyards. The company has organic certification.
