Description
Colle Bereto Chianti Classico is obtained from Sangiovese (97%) and Colorino (3%) grapes. After a 12-month maturation in small oak barrels and a refinement of another 6 in the bottle, the wine is ready for marketing. The elements that distinguish it are an intense purplish and clear color, with spicy aromas of black berry fruit and jam with a soft and long-lasting taste
Colle Bereto is the magnificent property of the Pinzauti family in Radda in Chianti, the cellar is located on the opposite side of the village going down towards Montevarchi. The vineyards have a south-west orientation and enjoy an ideal exposure and altitude range, between 450 and 500 meters above sea level. The soil is the classic Chianti area, Galestro, Alberese and rocky substrate. Ideal characteristics for autochthonous varieties such as Sangiovese and canaiolo, but which have also proved to be perfect for Merlot and Pinot Noir. There are 17 hectares of vineyards. The company has organic certification.
