Description

Castello di Radda Rosato di Toscana is produced with organically grown Sangiovese grapes. Bright pink with cherry reflections. Pleasant and fresh with hints of wild strawberry and dog rose. In the mouth it is harmonious and savory.

The Castello di Radda farm is located on the eastern hills overlooking the small village of Radda in Chianti, along the road that leads to another famous Chianti village: Volpaia. The vineyards are exposed from south-west to south-east with clayey-calcareous soils and a good percentage of skeleton. Particularly suitable conditions for the cultivation of Sangiovese and Canaiolo Castello di Radda is a relatively recent company in the Chianti wine scene. Founded in 2003 by the Gussalli-Beretta family, it has demonstrated clear ideas regarding the style of their wines right from the start. The Chianti Classicos are produced with proprietary grapes of native origin. The Sangiovese of Castello di Radda masterfully interprets this segment of the Chianti hills
