Description
The Castello di Radda Chianti Classico Riserva shows a mature and well-focused approach with black cherry, wild raspberry, crushed stone and grilled herbs. It is a wine with good body and a lively personality. Typically Radda, the Castello di Radda farm is located on the eastern hills overlooking the small town of Radda in Chianti, along the road that leads to another famous Chianti village: Volpaia.
The vineyards are exposed from south-west to south-east with clay-calacareous soils and a good percentage of skeleton. Conditions particularly suitable for the cultivation of Sangiovese and Canaiolo Castello di Radda is a relatively recent company in the Chianti wine scene.
