Description
Castello di Monterinaldi Chianti Classico is obtained by blending several varieties, with Sangiovese representing the largest percentage. The vineyards are located within the municipality of Radda in Chianti at altitudes ranging from 300 to 450 meters a.s.l. The specific microclimate, soil and grape varieties combine to create a wine that has a rich bouquet, is lightly tannic and suitable for long-term ageing.
Castello di Monterinaldi is located in Radda in Chianti, owned by the Ciampi family since 1961. The eighteen hectares of vineyards are managed organically and the first bottles that can boast the certification will be those from the 2017 harvest.
