Cascina Penna Currado Dolcetto d’Alba “Bricco Lago” is one of the winery’s flagship wines. The grapes come from vineyards located in Monforte d’Alba, in an area characterized by notable natural biodiversity. The vinification takes place in whole bunches, followed by refinement in stainless steel, to preserve the typical fragrance and freshness of the vine. Cascina Penna Currado is a winery located in Serralunga d’Alba, in the heart of the Piedmontese Langhe.

Founded by Elena Penna and Luca Currado Vietti, together with their children Giulia and Michele, it represents a return to the origins for the family, after decades of experience at the helm of the historic Vietti company. The headquarters of the winery is a farmhouse dating back to 1554, once known as Cascina Lazzarito, which belonged to the Marquises Falletti, which has been carefully restored to accommodate the new winemaking activity.

This Dolcetto has a brilliant ruby ​​color and offers the nose fruity and spicy aromas, with notes of crunchy berries and candied flowers. On the palate it is lively and crunchy, with ripe tannins and a pleasant natural acidity, which make it an ideal accompaniment for pasta dishes, red meats and mature cheeses.
