Description
Caparsa Chianti Classico Riserva Caparsino is a highly typical wine. Produced with Sangiovese grapes harvested by hand in the Caparsa vineyards in Radda in Chianti, Caparsa offers its connoisseurs a spontaneous, valuable wine that enjoys a large pulp accompanied by the usual freshness typical of Caparsino. The history of Caparsa is made up of passion, commitment to quality and respect for the land. Started by Paolo Cianferoni in 1982, the company is certified organic and houses some very ancient Sangiovese plants.
Located in Radda in Chianti, in the heart of Tuscany, Paolo produces approximately 20,000 bottles (less than 2,000 cases) of wine per year. Paolo’s agricultural and winemaking practices are natural. He does not use chemical substances in his vineyards; all the grapes are hand-harvested and selected. Fermentations are carried out with indigenous yeasts, and the wines are bottled unfined and with minimal additions of sulfites. This commitment to cultivating in a clean manner and allowing nature to produce its wines has undoubtedly paid off, and now Caparsa wines are among the most sought-after in Radda in Chianti.
