Description

Bollinger Champagne Special Cuvée Brut is the purest expression of the style of one of the oldest Champagne houses.

The blend of this cuvée is remarkably consistent and stands out from other champagnes for a 10% contribution of reserve wines vinified in oak barrels, which gives it a specific Bollinger wine.

Few Champagne houses achieve Bollinger’s undisputed reputation. Seriousness and regularity have been his best qualities since the beginning of the nineteenth century, and the Special Cuvée proves it: a largely predominant blend of Pinot Noir (60% minimum) for several years, it is affirmed, in a decisive, full-bodied style and beautifully fresh.

Bollinger Special Cuvée has a beautiful light golden yellow color with fine and generous bubbles.

On the nose, beautiful aromatic notes of apple, ripe apricot, citrus, then toast, brioche and hazelnut.

The mouth is vinous, the Chardonnay brings its finesse and its freshness, the Pinot Noir its roundness and its body.

The finish is long, fresh and pleasant.

The Special Cuvée is a high-class champagne.
