Description
Aliotti Pinot Nero 2021 is presented in the glass with a bouquet of violets, small red berried fruits and undergrowth. In the mouth the sip is flowing with soft tannins and a finish of great harmony
Aliotti was born in 2016 in the municipality of Caprese Michelangelo and is located at an altitude of 550 m, on the Apennine ridge. He cultivates Pinot Noir in 2.5 hectares of vineyard and the Morcone olive tree in a plot of about 6 hectares.
The image that distinguishes Aliotti has roots in the past. Taken from an inherited household tool for preparing traditional Abruzzo desserts, it has become a symbol of dexterity and care that gives life to something good and now tells a new story. Since 2021 our company has been certified organic.
The vineyards are located between Reserves and Protected Natural Areas that dot the Upper Tiber Valley, an area where the Tuscan Apennines are crossed by the Tiber. The landscape alternates rugged areas with gentler reliefs and the rocks that emerge, also called “green stones”, have an underwater magmatic origin and are rich in minerals such as copper and iron. In the vineyard the work is manual in every step; the weeding of the vineyard is mechanical, to ensure that healthy, intact and ripe grapes arrive in the cellar. The destemmer and the press work delicately, the concrete barrels allow you to control the temperature of the fermentation.
