Description
San Donatino Extra Virgin Olive Oil is obtained from Frantoio, Correggiolo, Moraiolo and Leccino variety olives. The olives are hand-picked directly from the tree and then placed in special perforated boxes on each side to facilitate aeration and, consequently, better conservation. Within 72 hours of harvesting, the olives are brought to the mill for milling.
The winery is located in Castellina in Chianti and historically produces one of the best Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the area
San Donatino Extra Virgin Olive Oil is slightly spicy with a pleasantly bitter note that leaves the mouth dry and clean. On the nose the notes of artichoke and freshly cut grass are evident.
