Just over 4000 bottles of a wine that leaves no one indifferent for its territorial expressiveness and ability to interpret the grape variety in a true and original way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maurizio Alongi<\/strong> is a Sienese winemaker who, after many years of experience in various Chianti and Italian companies, has decided to express his talent in the territory that is closest to his heart: Chianti Classico. The project began after having discovered two small vineyards near the medieval village of <strong>Barbischio<\/strong> near Gaiole in Chianti, planted in the early seventies.<\/p>\n<p>The extension of the vineyards, just over one hectare and the very low yields also due to the age of the plants, mean that the production of this Chianti <strong>Classico<\/strong> Riserva is truly limited.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The vineyards are located at 435 meters above sea level with a prevailing southern exposure.
