It is a harmonious and elegant red wine. It keeps all the promises of Chianti Sangiovese: complexity, elegance and freshness. Mineral notes appear on the finish and the tannin is well integrated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Located in Gaiole in Chianti, the history of Badia a Coltibuono dates back to 1051 and to the order of Vallombrosan monks. The current owners are the brothers Emanuela, Roberto, Paolo and Guido Stucchi Prinetti.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">There are 74 hectares of vineyards mostly in the Monti sub-area, also in the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">One of the prides of Badia a Coltibuono is the heritage of ancient Sangiovese settlers, used to replant key sites at higher densities of 7-8,000 Sangiovese plants per hectare.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In 1996 the new cellar in Monti saw the light, and with the 2003 harvest came the organic certification<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico Riserva 2020 shows the results of an excellent vintage.
