With a fine and delicate nose, in the mouth it has good structure and soft tannins.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Castello di Albola<\/strong> is located in <strong>Radda in Chianti<\/strong> in the heart of the Chianti Classico DOCG denomination, where the cultivation of vines dates back to Etruscan times. The <strong>Acciaiuoli<\/strong> family commissioned the estate to plant a vineyard in the highest part of <strong>Chianti<\/strong> Classico in the 15th century as a symbol of their high status.<\/p>\n<p>Over the centuries, many noble Tuscan families have taken over the ownership, and the estate has always been mentioned for the high quality of its wines. In 1979, the <strong>Zonin<\/strong> family bought Castello di Albola with the aim of continuing the tradition of high quality wines for which the company was famous. An expansion and modernization project started right away which brought the estate to its current size: 125 hectares of beautifully located vineyards and a modern cellar perfectly harmonized with the surrounding landscape. The wines of Castello di Albola are synonymous with sapidity and minerality with fruity and elegant aromas.
