Tuttosommato 2023<\/strong> was born from one of those challenging years. In Lamole, one of the highest and most distinctive areas of Chianti Classico, downy mildew dramatically reduced Jurij Fiore\u2019s production. Faced with a difficult harvest, rather than giving up, Jurij decided to blend together the grapes that would normally be destined for his different vineyard selections, creating a wine whose name perfectly reflects its spirit: all things considered, the vintage did not turn out so badly after all<\/em>.<\/p>\n The estate itself is one of the most authentic artisan wineries in Chianti Classico. With less than two hectares of vineyards cultivated on the steep terraces of Lamole, Jurij works with Sangiovese grown on sandy, rocky soils at high elevation. Some of the vineyards still preserve old bush-trained vines, a rare reminder of traditional Tuscan viticulture. Winemaking is deliberately simple and respectful, with fermentation in stainless steel and careful ageing designed to let the character of the vineyard speak for itself.<\/p>\n In the glass, Tuttosommato 2023 expresses the unmistakable personality of Lamole. Aromas of wild plum, ripe peach, candied violet and rose petals are complemented by delicate peppery notes.
