Valeria Vigan\u00f2 and Luca Orsini, who arrived here in the early 90s, have transformed this estate into a model of sustainability, practicing organic and biodynamic farming long before it became a trend. The name &#8220;Le Cinciole&#8221; itself is rooted in Etruscan-Roman history, anciently referring to the lands of a certain <i data-path-to-node=\"0\" data-index-in-node=\"487\">Quintius<\/i>, testifying to a millennial agricultural vocation.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"1\">The secret of this wine lies in its <b data-path-to-node=\"1\" data-index-in-node=\"36\">terroir<\/b>: the Petresco vineyards are rooted in galestro soil and clay-limestone schists, resting on solid pietraforte rock at an altitude of nearly 500 meters. This combination grants the Sangiovese an extraordinary freshness and a distinctive acidic backbone. In the cellar, the approach is one of minimalism: spontaneous fermentation in cement tanks using indigenous yeasts, followed by a long 24-month aging period in small French oak barrels and further refinement in the bottle.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">In the glass, Petresco doesn&#8217;t seek easy approval; it aims straight for elegance. It is a textural and vibrant red, where ripe cherry intertwines with notes of forest floor, leather, and a hint of cocoa. On the palate, it strikes with its clean sip and a dense yet velvety tannic texture, closing with a mineral and almost savory persistence.
