\"GigiThe Chianti Classico Casa Porciatti is born from the desire to give shape to a story that, in Radda in Chianti<\/strong>, has never been interrupted.
\nToday we are not wine producers, yet wine has always been part of our family. Gigi, my grandfather, was a master vine grafter and, as was common in those days, he always made a small amount of wine for the family: a simple, everyday wine, meant for the table and for passing on to his grandchildren a deep passion for the countryside and this land.<\/p>\n

In the 1950s and 1960s, before opening the family shop and butcher\u2019s, Gigi worked as a master vine grafter in the hills of Radda, grafting vines and ensuring the continuity of the vineyards. His was a craft made of precise gestures, respect for the seasons, and a direct relationship with the land.
\nThe image on the label portrays his face and is inspired by a family photograph taken in the vineyard, showing him teaching me how to graft a plant. It is in that moment, and in that shared gesture, that the bond with the countryside and with wine was born\u2014one that this project seeks to tell today.<\/p>\n

This Chianti Classico took shape thanks to the encounter with a winemaker friend from Radda, who guided us in transforming a family memory into a complete and authentic wine. Together we tasted, discussed, and chose, sharing a clear vision: to create a Chianti Classico faithful to the character of Radda, without forcing its expression, able to speak honestly of its territory.<\/p>\n

The 2023 harvest marks the first vintage of this project and was produced in just 600 bottles, the natural result of a conscious, artisanal choice. The grapes come from an old vineyard in the Radda in Chianti area, a place that preserves the memory of agricultural work carried out over time and that today is interpreted with care and respect.<\/p>\n

The soils, rich in rocky structure and well drained, together with Radda\u2019s cool climate and marked day\u2013night temperature variations, promote a slow ripening of Sangiovese, preserving freshness, aromatic precision, and elegance.
\nVinification follows a classic and measured approach: carefully managed fermentations, gentle extractions, and an aging process designed to support the wine without overshadowing its identity.<\/p>\n

In the glass, the Chianti Classico Casa Porciatti 2023 expresses itself as a sincere Sangiovese, with aromas of cherry, hillside herbs, and subtle mineral notes. The palate is balanced and fresh, supported by fine, well-integrated tannins and an easy, natural drinkability that makes it ideal at the table.<\/p>\n

It is a wine that brings together memory, friendship, and territory\u2014
\na wine that closes a circle.<\/strong><\/p>\n
