Its well-developed tannic structure supports the succulent fruit. Its intensity, richness, and complexity translate into savory, earthy, truffle-like notes of dark fruit. The finish is long and satisfying<\/p>\n<p><strong>Castell&#8217;in Villa Chianti Classico originates from vineyards planted on alluvial soil containing pebbles and sand.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The must ferments in stainless steel using indigenous yeasts and is kept in contact with the skins for just under two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The wine is aged in large oval barrels for two years before bottling.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Castell&#8217;in Villa<\/strong> is a small estate in <strong>Castelnuovo Berardenga<\/strong>, at the southern edge of the <strong>Chianti Classico<\/strong> region.
