It&#8217;s a mature, round, and juicy Champigny.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:379\">\u201cLe Bourg\u201d is the most precious jewel of Clos Rougeard, a legendary name in the Loire that has redefined the identity and potential of Cabernet Franc in the world. Originating from a small, organically farmed plot planted on clay-limestone soils in Parnay, in the heart of Saumur-Champigny, this wine is the result of old vines and very low yields, vinified with meticulous care.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:329\">The 2017 vintage boasts great purity and depth, powerfully expressing the character of the terroir and the unique style of the estate. Following a long maceration, fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. It is then aged for approximately 24 months in barriques (mostly new), without filtration or clarification.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:269\">An unconventional, intense, and inimitable Cabernet Franc, capable of evolving magnificently over time. A wine for meditation or special occasions, it pairs well with rich dishes, game, or aged cheeses.
