The pruning method is the spurred cordon and the yields are kept very low. <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The two main vineyards are Castiglioncello and Sassicaia, which were planted between 1965 and 1985 in successive phases together with the parcel in Aia Nuova. A more recent vineyard, called Quercione, was planted from cuttings from the Sassicaia vineyard in 1989 and 1990 and is situated on a stony ridge above the cellar.<\/p>\n<p>Today, <strong>Tenuta San Guido<\/strong> needs no introduction. <strong>Sassicaia 2016<\/strong> was named the best wine in the world by <strong>Wine Spectator<\/strong> magazine.
