{"id":11171,"date":"2023-02-14T17:32:03","date_gmt":"2023-02-14T16:32:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/casaporciatti.it\/shop\/prodotto\/gianni-brunelli-le-chiuse-di-sotto-brunello-di-montalcino-2017\/"},"modified":"2024-02-09T10:29:32","modified_gmt":"2024-02-09T09:29:32","slug":"gianni-brunelli-le-chiuse-di-sotto-brunello-di-montalcino-2019","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/casaporciatti.it\/shop\/en\/product\/gianni-brunelli-le-chiuse-di-sotto-brunello-di-montalcino-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"GIANNI BRUNELLI LE CHIUSE DI SOTTO, Brunello di Montalcino 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Brunello di Montalcino<\/strong> <strong>Gianni Brunelli<\/strong> <strong>Le Chiuse di Sotto<\/strong> <strong>2019<\/strong> is one of the classics of the denomination produced in this particular vintage in limited quantities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">100% <strong>Sangiovese<\/strong> Grosso planted at an altitude of 350 m on clayey soils with a large presence of marl. 25 days of maceration on the skins followed by 30 months of aging in 20-hectolitre oak barrels. 6,000 bottles produced.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Gianni Brunelli, a man of many interests, opened the Osteria Le Logge in Siena in 1971 (now one of the best restaurants in the city).<\/strong> In 1987, he returned to Montalcino and bought &#8220;Le Chiuse di Sotto&#8221;, an estate that had belonged to his father Dino, with 2 hectares of vineyards 200 meters above sea level in the northern part of the region. Brunelli replanted most of the vines in 1989, but left a small plot of old estate intact dating back to his father&#8217;s original 1947 vineyard. After Gianni died in 2008, his wife Laura took over the reins along with her brother, Adriano.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A few years ago, the company bought the &#8220;Podernovone&#8221; vineyard, located further south in Montalcino. The 4-hectare property is located 350 meters above sea level and enjoys a magnificent view of Monte Amiata.
