Description
From the vineyard behind the house, Manuel Marinacci’s 2016 Barbaresco is a joy. Lively but concentrated, with notes of mint, strawberry and a hint of quinine, it is a long, graceful and delicious Nebbiolo.
Manuel Marinacci is an oenologist who, in a desperate attempt to follow his dreams, left to study oenology in Alba and ended up in class alongside characters such as the legendary Giuseppe Mascarello. Since then he has built a small estate in San Rocco Seno d’Elvio in the Barbaresco area with the first vintage in 2004.
Manuel has clearly borrowed something from Mascarello: these are the traditional Nebbioli, where the purity of the fruit is fundamental. And its wines are nothing short of delicious.
