The Chianti Classico 2018 La Casa di Bricciano is a wine with an intense red color. Aromas of wild berries and currants with notes of chocolate. On the palate it is structured and complex
Immersed in the uncontaminated nature of the Gaiole in Chianti hills, “La Casa di Bricciano” is a small family-run organic farm with a very limited production: about 12,000 bottles a year.
La Casa di Bricciano was founded in 1990, under the banner of organic farming, in full respect of nature and scrupulous attention to the quality of the products. The first wines on the market came out in 2001 and the certification of organic wines came in 2009.
The vineyards are located on the top of a hill, at an altitude of about 550 m above sea level, extended on the southern side overlooking Siena. The soil of the vineyards is shallow, extremely rich in skeleton, particularly suitable for high quality productions. Abandoned for a long time, it has grown considerably and is fertilized with manure every year. Thanks to careful selection of the grapes and low production, optimal ripeness is achieved.
Only natural products are used both in the vineyards and in the cellar.
