The Fumin di Grosejan was born on a site with an ancient winemaking tradition at 550 m a.s.l. on a very steep slope with southern exposure, in a particularly dry and windy climate with excellent brightness and a large temperature range during the ripening of the grapes, where only eco-compatible agronomic techniques are used.
After a year of refinement, it is bottled and stored for at least 6 months in the bottle before being sold. It has a very intense ruby red color, the nose is complex with fruity scents, cherries in particular, with not too evident spicy notes and a complexity of undergrowth, in the mouth it is dry tannic but not aggressive with soft and long tannins. It enjoys a long aging in bottle, even 4.5 years.
