Giuseppe Gorelli’s Rosso di Montalcino is a splendid red wine that exalts magnificently on the palate thanks to its consistency and density. The nose is characterized by concentration and aromas such as ripe cherries and tobacco. The mouth is sweet and velvety, supported by a hint of tannic astringency
Giuseppe Gorelli, oenologist and consultant, decided at the end of 2017 to found a new company in Montalcino.
In this land, where Sangiovese expresses its best qualities, it cultivates this variety exclusively on the north-west side of the hill, to the extent of 4 hectares in production and another 2.3 hectares in breeding.
Giuseppe Gorelli is always committed to conducting both the vineyards and the vinifications, which take place in a traditional way and with spontaneous fermentations. Most of the grapes are fermented in 50-hectolitre wooden vats / barrels. Subsequently the refinement takes place in medium / large capacity wooden barrels (16/35 hl.).
